I thought that since I have often mentioned my grandmother for my unknown pictures postings that I might add her picture. This is my grandmother, Amelia Rhodees Lane. She was born in 1917 in Moody, Marion County, South Carolina to Sampson and Roma Lane. She was the tenth out of their twelve children. She married my grandfather, R. Price Orr, in Columbia, South Carolina in 1940. Her life was short and I was not blessed with the opportunity to meet her, but she was always special to me.
